This Year I Resolve To...

... A bit late but here's a list of my resolutions for the coming year.

A lot of people get a bit negative about resolutions and lose faith in their ability to better themselves, I however, feel that New Years resolutions give us all an excuse to try new things, improve ourselves physically and mentally, and enjoy life more on a day to day basis.

Having previously always turned my nose up at fish and seafood a few years ago I prepared myself to start indulging in a whole food group I was missing out on which worked and now nearly every time I eat out, I order a seafood dish. Hot damn, I love the stuff.

In 2014 I resolve to;

Focus on myself - not only physically and becoming fit, but mentally; enjoying the things I like doing. Taking more photos, making more music, reading, focusing on getting my blog up and running again and cooking more adventurously.

Focus on my loved ones - birthdays, anniversaries, family events and taking the time to communicate and spend quality time with the people I love.

Use money more wisely - treat myself more often and go out, save up some money for a holiday with the boy, save up money for a potential trip to South Africa at the beginning of 2015.

I'll leave it there because I think that's enough to be getting on with.

2014 really is a new start for me as within the next week I'll be starting an amazing new job that I can't wait for and sadly moving out of my current flat with a flatmate that makes me laugh pretty much all of the time to get ready to move in amazingly with my boy in May.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
